Finding The Science You Need
We recommend three ways to find the science you need:

-
On-line Searches. There are two great sources of information:
-
TREESEARCH. This is a database of all the research publications available from the Research & Development mission area of the U.S. Forest Service. Enter key words (e.g., tree species, type of problem) and search.
-
Google Scholar. This application covers nearly all the English-language science published world-wide. Enter key words and search.
-

-
Your Extension Forester. Most states have extension foresters who serve private landowners in a county or multi-county area. They provide advice on many different topics, such as harvesting timber. Search on-line for the contact information for other states.

-
Contact Guldin Forestry LLC. We offer various services to agencies, organizations, and small landowners.
